Hines, Maureen C.
By Canton CitizenMaureen C. Hines (Bruce), 76, of Canton, passed away July 29 at Norwood Hospital.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she lived in Newfoundland at an early age and then moved to Dorchester and graduated from Dorchester High School. She has lived in Canton since 1971 and was a devoted wife and homemaker.
Beloved wife of Francis P. Mother of Theresa Corliss of Foxboro, Karen Atocha of Canton, Jay Rosen and his wife, Nicole, of Wrentham, and the late Daniel Rosen. Sister of Marguerite Kelly of Marshfield, Veronica Jones of WA, and Harold Bruce of Newfoundland. Also survived by seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass in St. John the Evangelist Church in Canton Thursday, August 1, at 10:30 a.m. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to the Norfolk Adult Day Care, 595 Pleasant St., Norwood, MA 02062. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street.
