Spring Awakening

Last weekend, August 8-11, the First Parish Players premiered their spectacular summer musical, “Spring Awakening,” at First Parish Unitarian Universalist in Canton. Final performances are tomorrow and Saturday, August 16 and 17, starting at 7 p.m.
The winner of eight Tony Awards and one Grammy Award, “Spring Awakening” is a rock musical with lyrics by Steven Sater and music by Duncan Sheik, and is based on the controversial 1891 German play by Frank Wedekind.
Tickets to “Spring Awakening” are $15 and can be purchased at the door. This production is not intended for children as the musical contains sensitive, adult material.
