Update: Another Dunkin Donuts was robbed on Monday, August 19, bringing the count to 12 in eastern Massachusetts since March, according to the Boston Globe. The robbery occurred at 395 Providence Highway in Dedham around 10 p.m., and the suspect matched the description in the other robberies, according to the Globe.

The Canton Police Department and Dunkin’ Brands are offering a $2,500 cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect in a string of recent armed robberies at Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in Canton and several surrounding communities.

The suspect, who is pictured above in surveillance footage at a Norwood Dunkin Donuts, is described as a white/Hispanic male. In multiple robberies the suspect has worn a mask and brandished a black handgun.

The most recent armed robberies occurred at locations in Norwood and West Roxbury. The Dunkin Donuts on Neponset Street in Canton has been robbed twice this summer in a similar fashion — once on June 30 and again on July 24. Similar robberies have also been reported at Dunkin Donuts locations in Newton, Westwood, Walpole, Plainville, Norton, North Attleboro, Raynham and Easton.

Area law enforcement officials have established a regional task force in an effort to solve this latest string of robberies.

“We are working with detectives in those communities and working hand in hand with Dunkin Donuts corporate security,” Canton Deputy Police Chief Helena Findlen told the Citizen earlier this month.

Anyone who has information about any of the robberies should contact the Canton Police Department’s Bureau of Criminal Investigations at 781-828-1214 ext. 300 or 303. Information may also be left at the Canton Police Department’s website at cantonpolice.com via the Online Tip Line.
