Defensively, the middle infield of Faria and Gerry Kelly were outstanding, as was Joe Mula in left field.
Manager Joe DeFelice invited the team to JJ McKay’s restaurant in Wayland for food and drinks to celebrate winning the tournament. Team sponsor Attorney Glen Hannington picked up the tab. It was another great tournament win for Hanningtons. Each player received a winning t-shirt while the sponsor received a trophy.
