Frances G. Crane (Ziomek), of Canton, passed away September 6 at Norwood Hospital.

She was born, raised and educated in Springfield and worked at Springfield Rifle during World War II. She lived in California from 1952 to 2001 and also lived in Arizona and Texas. She was well respected and worked in the electronics industry for General Electric in El Paso, TX. She enjoyed cooking, especially Polish food.

She was the beloved wife of the late Hugh Crane. Mother of Michael Crane and his wife, Deborah, of Canton. Grandmother of Michael, Spencer and Taylor Crane.

Relatives and friends invited to attend a memorial mass in St. John the Evangelist Church Saturday, September 14, at 10:30 a.m. Burial private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Hellenic Nursing Home, 601 Sherman St., Canton, MA 02021. For guestbook, see www.dockrayandthomasfuneralhome.com.
