Kelleher, Jeremiah T.
By Canton CitizenJeremiah T. Kelleher, 71, of Jamestown, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 16, 2013, at home. He was the beloved husband of Frances Brazil-Kelleher.
Born in Canton, he was a son of the late Jeremiah T. and Dorothy J. (Sykes) Kelleher.
Mr. Kelleher graduated from Fitchburg State College in 1963. He taught in the Canton schools and later worked as an area sales representative for Mobil Oil Company. He was a business consultant and was most recently the assistant executive director for Better Community Living in Dartmouth.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, J. James Kelleher of Gemert, Holland, and John A. Kelleher of Holyoke; four sisters, Jane Sheridan and Dorsey Wheeler, both of Canton, Judith Kerr of Plymouth, and Margaret Hoagland of Concord; two brothers, Richard Kelleher of Canton and Thomas McKenzie of Norwood; three grandsons and a granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Joseph Kelleher.
His funeral was held Wednesday, November 20, from the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home in North Kingstown, RI, with a mass of Christian burial in St. Mark Church in Jamestown. Burial in St. Mark Cemetery.
