Mahoney, Jean E.
By Canton CitizenJean E. Mahoney (McClure), 87, of Canton, died November 22, 2013, after a brief illness.
Jean worked as an RN at the Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton for over 20 years until retiring in 1986. She enjoyed genealogy, spending time with her grandchildren, and supporting environmental causes. Jean was a past member of the Canton Conservation Commission and was a passionate wetland environmentalist.
Devoted wife of the late William D. Mahoney Sr. Loving mother of William D. Mahoney Jr. and his wife, Laura, of Marstons Mills, and Jean M. Vandal and her husband, Jeffrey, of Norton. Loving mother of the late Michael, Maureen, Robert, and Elizabeth Mahoney. She is survived by 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private. Donations in Jean’s memory can be made to the Massachusetts Hospital School, 3 Randolph St., Canton, MA 02021. Arrangements by the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street.
