Tamasi named to All-NESCAC 1st team

Former Xaverian Brothers High School football captain and Canton native Chris Tamasi was recently named to the NESCAC All-Conference First Team as a linebacker.

Enjoying a breakout season at Amherst College (7-1), Tamasi led the team in tackles with 62 while leading the conference in tackles for a loss with 18 and finishing tied for fourth in sacks with four. He recorded 10 stops in a win against Tufts, including 3.5 behind the line of scrimmage, and had a season-best 13 tackles (12 solo) in a 17-16 win over Trinity.
