Bubar, Rachel G.

Rachel G. Bubar (Giardino), 99, of South Portland, ME, passed away January 10 at the South Portland Nursing Home.

Born in Boston, she graduated from South Portland High School and worked as a printer for Western Electric for many years. She previously worked as a union seamstress in Maine and also worked for the Maine Democratic Party. She loved crafts and enjoyed oil painting, watercolors, and was an avid gardener.

Beloved wife of the late Omar E. Mother of Arthur E. of FL, Marietta Parise of Canton, Clyde F. of NH, Wayne D. of ME, and Francis A. of Dracut. Sister of John Giardino of Franklin, Anthony Giardino of FL, Joan Stocker of Woburn, and Elizabeth Stone of NY. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
