Dog Patch photo brings back fond memories

Dear Editor:
Thanks for the photo titled “Snow Day Pond Hockey” by Moira Sweetland that appeared in the January 9 issue of the Canton Citizen. Growing up in Canton in the 1970s, I remember skating all day at the Dog Patch, and when the sun was going down as in the photo, making the walk back home for dinner — at least a mile. Thanks for the memories.
