Doucette, James A.
By Canton CitizenJames A. Doucette, 66, passed away January 25 at Mass. General Hospital in Boston.
Born in Malden, he was raised in Medford and graduated from Medford High School and was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a self-employed court stenographer and was a member of the Mass. Court Reporters Association.
He was a fitness buff and a longtime member of the Dedham Health and Athletic Club. He enjoyed watching football and hockey, traveling, spending time with his family, and was a wine connoisseur. He has lived in Canton since 1987 and previously lived in Jamaica Plain.
Beloved husband of Andrea C. (Floyd). Loving son of the late Mary (Marini) and Joseph Doucette. Brother of Joseph P. Doucette, Jr. of NH, MaryEllen Stagliano of NH and FL, and AnneMarie Grafe of Rowley. Brother-in-law of Jaye Blume of Sheffield, Doris Morrison of Wrentham, Jack Floyd of Milford, Joe Floyd of Lenox, and Monica Babcock of Weymouth. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Mass in St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton Thursday, January 30, at 10 a.m. Burial Forest Hills Cemetery.
