Barbara S. Lewis, 95, of Mansfield, formerly of Canton, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014.

Barbara was a retired caretaker who worked at the Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton. Devoted wife of the late Robert E. Lewis. Loving mother of Richard A. Lewis and his wife, Linda, of South Hadley, Jane Lundell and her husband, Carl, of Mansfield, and Nancy Kelly and her husband, Thomas, of Quincy. Loving sister of June Hardy of Stoughton and of the late Richard Sawyer. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was held Monday morning, February 17, at the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara’s memory to the Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215.
