This year, the event was renamed to honor Kristen and Steve Furbush, civic members and two-time winners who passed away just months apart earlier this year. Queen Anne’s defended its title in the restaurant division, while Joan D’Alto took first place in the amateur competition. Pictured above are Rick and Asha Sampson of Queen Anne’s. The night went off without a hitch thanks to the hard work of the class officers and advisor Joyce Stenmon, who secured a new location in the wake of the fire at Lakeview Pavilion in Foxboro. Photo 6: The Squeezebox Stompers will perform at the Open Book Coffeehouse on Saturday, April 19. The band plays a mix of Cajun, Zydeco, Blues, and Swamp Pop. The Open Book Coffeehouse is located in the Community Room of the Canton Public Library and is made possible by the Friends of the Library. The doors open at 6:45 p.m. and the music starts at 7:30.
