Tordoff, Arthur K.
By Canton CitizenArthur K. Tordoff, 70, a lifelong resident of Canton, died peacefully April 28, 2014, in Tower Hill Kindred Nursing and Rehabilitation after a long illness.
Raised in Canton, Arthur proudly served in the Army National Guard as a staff sergeant working as a welder/blacksmith. He worked as a plumber for JPA and for EM Duggan in Canton for many years until retiring in 2004. Arthur was a proud supporter of the NRA and enjoyed striper fishing and riding his Harley Davidson.
Son of the late Arthur (Ted) and Margaret Tordoff. Devoted husband of Karen Tordoff (O’Neill) of Canton. Loving father of Pamela H. Groom of Pembroke, Joshua D. Tordoff and his wife, Michelle, of Hanson, and Josiah K. Tordoff of Canton. Brother of the late Jerilyn Tordoff-Flagg. Proud grandfather of Mark, Zachary, and Tyler Groom, all of Pembroke.
Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, Saturday, May 3, from 2-6 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Arthur’s memory to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA 22311, diabetes.org/donate.
