Healey, Vincent P.

Vincent P. Healey of Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of Canton, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014, after a brief illness. He was 65 years old.

Vinnie was a 31-year employee of the Boston Globe, working as a distribution foreman, and he later worked for the Arizona Republic newspaper. An avid golfer, he was a longtime member of Wampatuck Country Club in Canton and Palm Valley Country Club in Phoenix. Vinnie was a 1966 graduate of Canton High and a 1972 graduate of Fort Kent State (University of Maine at Fort Kent).

Son of the late Paul and Priscilla Healey. Devoted husband of Carole E. Healey (Davis) of Phoenix. Loving father of Dennis Healey of Stoughton, Rachel Shaver of Boseman, MT, Kelly Wright of Plympton, and Paul Bumpus of Phoenix. Loving brother of Christine Healey of Concord, Patti Healey of Halifax, Nova Scotia, Johanna Healey of Concord, Jill Healey of Tigard, OR, Paula Healey of Clinton, John Healey of Canton, and Rebecca Healey of Canton. Proud grandfather of Millie, Annabelle, Patrick, and Maxwell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, Friday, May 16, from 4-8 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Chapel at Knollwood Memorial Park, 321 High Street, Canton.
