Farrow, David L.
By Canton CitizenDavid L. Farrow, 67, of Canton and South Yarmouth, passed away July 5 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton.
Born and raised in Newport, Vermont, he attended Vermont schools. After graduating he enlisted in the Navy and served during the Vietnam War aboard a nuclear submarine. After his military service he moved to South Boston, where he met his wife of 47 years. He previously lived in Hyde Park and moved to Canton in 1978, where he went to work at the Canton Public Library, retiring in 2013. He enjoyed spending time at his cape house in South Yarmouth, spending time with his grandchildren, gardening, bird watching, and loved a good cigar.
Beloved husband of Martina (Fahy). Father of Robert A. Farrow and his wife, Missy, of Franklin, David L. Farrow, Jr. and his wife, Tracy, of Norwood, Deborah A. Mancuso and her husband, Eric, of Weymouth, and Mary E. Ambroceo and her husband, Bobby, of Walpole. Brother of Mark of MD and Nancy of Hyde Park. Grandfather of Rylee, Brett, Tyler, Emma, Michael, Meghan, Nicholas, Aiden, Cole, and Nathan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass was celebrated Thursday, July 10, at 10 a.m. in St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery.
