Peter M. Callahan, 68, of Canton, passed away July 11 at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton after a long illness.
Born and raised in Boston, he attended Boston Latin High School and Boston College and was a veteran of the Army National Guard. He worked as a salesman for Johnson & Johnson, United Stationers, and Office Depot before retiring. He was an avid sports fan and was a member of the McKeon Post in Dorchester.
Beloved husband of Gail F. (Sullivan). Brother of John Callahan and his wife, Becky, of AZ, Kevin Callahan and his wife, Janice, of Hanson, and the late Phillip Callahan. Son-in-law of Mary N. Sullivan of Milton. Brother-in-law of Mary Callahan of CA. Also survived by several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends invited to attend a memorial mass at St. Gerard Majella Church in Canton Friday at 10 a.m. Visiting hours omitted; burial private.
