Ribero, Audrey

Audrey Ribero (Tavitian), 81, of Canton, passed away after a long illness on July 24 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Bridgewater, Audrey graduated from Bridgewater Public Schools. She earned her BA in elementary education from Bridgewater State and a Master of Education in special education from Boston University. Mrs. Ribero taught in the Braintree Public Schools for over 50 years before retiring as the director of special education.

Beloved wife of Robert W. Ribero of Canton. Loving sister of Mary Brooks of FL and the late Sonja Buccheri. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service was held Thursday, July 31, at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, 455 Washington Street. Burial Pine Hill Cemetery, Bridgewater.
