Eckler, Frank P.
By Canton CitizenFrank P. Eckler, 71, a lifelong resident of Canton, died peacefully in his home August 9, 2014.
Frank was a retired member of the International Union of Elevator Constructors (IUEC) Local #4, retiring in 2003. He then worked for the Department of Public Safety as a state elevator inspector for several years. He is a member of Grace Church in Avon. Frank was a past member of Wampatuck Country Club and coached Canton Little League baseball and Pop Warner football.
Frank was the devoted husband of Pamela M. (Pesaturo). Loving father of Jack F. Eckler and his wife, Rosemarie, of Stoughton, Robert Eckler, Frank P. Eckler Jr. and his wife, Caroline, and Jeffrey C. Eckler and his wife, Katherine, all of Canton. Brother of Richard Eckler of Canton and Christine Sheridan of Mansfield. Proud grandfather of Jack Jr., Frank III, Danny, Jill, Katie, Kristen, Becca, Annie, James and Jeff Jr.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the Grace Church, 101 Wales Avenue in Avon, Saturday, August 16, from 9-10 a.m. with a service celebrating Frank’s life at 10 a.m. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank’s memory to the Youth Ministry at Grace Church, 101 Wales Ave., Avon, MA 02322.
