Joan was born and raised in Jamaica Plain, and after graduating from St. Thomas Aquinas High School she started a career as a secretary. Much of her employment was with the Boston Public Schools. Joan leaves a legacy of faith, loyalty, and laughter for her family and friends. She enjoyed music and singing, especially Irish music, dancing, candlepin bowling, high fashion, and most importantly, her family …
