MABA director urges residents to vote Yes on Question 2

The American Beverage Association, a group based in Washington, D.C., that represents big beverage companies, has already spent $5 million to defeat Question 2 in November. That is an outrageous amount of money from an outside group swooping in to buy our votes. They are only interested in their profit margins, not our open spaces, streams, and beaches.
Question 2 would expand the state’s bottle deposit law to include water and sports drinks. Trusted organizations like Mass Audubon, Sierra Club, and the Environmental League of Massachusetts are supporting the YES on 2 campaign.
I urge you to vote Yes on 2.
