Robert P. Curtis, Sr., 87, of Canton, passed away peacefully October 17 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston surrounded by his loving family.

Born in the family home on Sherman Street in Canton, he was raised in Canton and was a lifelong resident of the town. He was a graduate of Canton High School’s Class of 1944 and was a star quarterback on Charlie Stevenson’s first football squad.
