Ruth J. Ghannam, 78, of Canton, passed away October 24 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton after a brief illness.

Born in Robbinston, Maine, she graduated from Livermore Falls High School in Maine. She enjoyed her early years in Robbinston, growing up on the family farm. In her later years she enjoyed writing and wrote a memoir about her time on the farm in Robbinston. She also loved to read, play the piano, plant flowers, and dress up to go out.
