Janet Ford, 78, of Canton, died peacefully October 14, 2014, after a long illness.

She was a retired employee of the Boston Globe, where she worked in the classified advertising department. Janet enjoyed traveling, gardening, and doting on her many loving nieces and nephews. She was known as the “fun aunt” and will be dearly missed …
