Nomination deadline fast approaching for 2015 election

Canton residents who are interested in running for office in the April 7 town election have until next Friday, February 13, at 5 p.m. to obtain nomination papers from the Town Clerk’s office. Interested candidates must obtain the signatures of at least 50 registered voters in the town of Canton, and nomination papers must be returned by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17.

Offices that will appear on the ballot include: Board of Selectmen (2 seats), Town Clerk, Board of Assessors, Board of Health, School Committee, Planning Board, Library Trustees (3 seats), and Housing Authority (3 seats, including 2 to fill vacancies).
