Nutter, Gerald E.
By Canton CitizenGerald E. (Gerry) Nutter, 82, a longtime resident of Canton, passed away suddenly at Norwood Hospital on May 22.
Born in Globe, Arizona, and raised in Long Beach, California, Gerald attended public school and graduated from Long Beach State College with a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics on June 10, 1960. He went on to study at the California Institute of Technology as an EE major and continued graduate work at UCLA and USC in mathematics and computer electronics.
