By Canton CitizenDr. Harold W. “Ben” Tate, Jr., DDS, 84, of Canton, passed away after a brief illness September 18 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
Born in Norwood, he was raised in Canton and graduated from Harvard College and New York University College of Dentistry in 1961. He served for four years in the United States Navy as a dental technician, stationed at the Naval Air Stations in El Centro and San Diego, CA; Amphibious Base, Coronado, CA; and Guam Naval Dental Clinic. He was in practice for 39 years in Sharon and Canton and was a member of the South Shore Dental Society, Mass. Dental Society, and the American Dental Association …
