Rita J. Post, 91, of Sharon, died peacefully in the comfort of her home Sunday, December 20, 2015, after a long illness.

She was a steadfast and loving wife whose energy, wit, and intellect were unparalleled. She was a geologist who graduated from Boston University. She met her husband of 60 years while working at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institute. She is a hero for her children and grandchildren and beloved by her brother and sisters. Her devotion to the Holy Family was an example for us all …
