Sheeran, Robert E.

Robert E. Sheeran, 86, a longtime resident of West Hartford, CT, died peacefully at his home in Stoughton on Saturday, January 2, 2016.

He was the husband of 53 years of Mary (Barnes) Sheeran. Born and raised in Woodlawn, New York, he was educated in New York City and was a graduate of New York University. He worked as a nuclear engineer for Combustion Engineering, later known as A.B.B. Engineering, in Windsor, CT, for many years, retiring several years ago. Mr. Sheeran was a resident of West Hartford for over 48 years, moving to Stoughton three years ago to be closer to his family.
