Gunning family grateful for support

Dear Editor:

On behalf of the Gunning and Andersen families, we want to thank the entire Canton community and beyond for all the love and support you have offered over the past few weeks. All the kind words written and the thoughts shared mean more than you will know. It’s truly hard to comprehend what devastation our family has endured. Your prayers have truly helped. The bow campaign was an amazing way to come together and it warms our hearts. A special thank you for all those who came to pay your respects, and for those who were not able to, we felt your presence.

Tom was a remarkable, giving husband, father and son; you all honored him so well with your support. We would also like to thank the Canton Police and Fire Department, Canton DPW, Roache-Pushard Funeral Home, Father Rafferty and Father Bourque, St. John the Evangelist Church and School, and so many more for being there for us.

May Tom rest in peace. God bless and thank you!
