Gibbs, Joseph ‘Mark’

Joseph “Mark” Gibbs, 59, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2016, surrounded by family at Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. Mark was born on September 4, 1956, to loving parents Wallace and Marie (Lamb) Gibbs of Canton.

Known as “Joe” to his colleagues for 27 years at Polaroid and 10 years at E-Ink, he was dedicated to his work and made many lifelong friends that he loved dearly. He supported his community as a member of the Blue Hills Civic Association for 20 years. He was an active parishioner of St. Gerard Majella Parish in Canton for over 33 years, serving as Eucharistic minister. He was a longtime contributing member of the Canton Historical Society …
