Boys tennis bounces back with 2 division wins
By Jay TurnerAfter going winless through their first three matches of the season, the CHS boys tennis team bounced back in a big way with consecutive 4-1 victories over division foes Foxboro and Oliver Ames last week.
Captains Jake Wolicki and Nathan Maltz continued their strong starts with wins in both matches at second and third singles, respectively. Freshman Jeevith Chandrasekar started in the top singles slot and picked up his first varsity win with a 6-1, 6-4 decision against his Foxboro opponent. In the OA match, the doubles teams of Justin Diep and Dillon Anderson and Sean Meenan and Jack Mullin both came away with a victory.
The Bulldogs are currently 2-3 overall and sit in third place in the Hockomock Davenport Division. The team did not have any matches during April vacation but have a busy week ahead with away matches against Milford and Stoughton and a home match Friday versus undefeated Sharon.
