Widberg, Edward E.

Edward E. Widberg, 79, of Canton, passed away May 4 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton.

Born in Norwood, he was a lifelong resident of Canton. Edward was a member of the last class to attend the Crane School in Canton, graduated from Canton High School in 1954 and Newbury College. After he graduated from high school, Edward served in the United States Coast Guard for 20 years. He worked for Draper Brothers in Canton for 10 years and then as a dispatcher for the Canton Police Department for one year and the Sharon Police Department for 10 years before retiring …
