Rita A. Minton, 96, of Stoughton, formerly of Braintree, passed away May 23 at the Arbors in Stoughton surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in Dorchester, she attended Boston schools and graduated from Jeremiah Burke High School. She lived in Braintree for 25 years where she was a former member of the Braintree Council on Aging and the Meals on Wheels. She was an accomplished piano player and enjoyed music, dancing, and had a gift for arts and crafts …
