A call to the police station for erratic driving on Green Street led to the arrest of a Boston man on motor vehicle theft charges on Sunday, July 10. Police received the call around 2 p.m. and dispatched Officer Tim Taylor to the scene. Taylor ran the license plate and discovered that the car had been reported stolen out of Boston that morning and was involved in a car jacking. Police arrested the operator and charged Terry Gray, 18, with receiving a stolen motor vehicle, possession of burglarious tools, and possession of a Class B substance. Police Lt. Tom Keleher praised the officers working on the investigation, which included Taylor, Officer Brian Ronayne, and Sergeant Michael Lank. Keleher said Boston police recovered the automobile, which will aid their carjacking investigation.
