Junior League team advances to Mass. state finals

The Canton Junior League Taylor Michigan team has advanced to the 2016 Massachusetts State Finals after defeating North Reading in the Section 2 Junior League championship at North Reading High School on Saturday, July 16, by a score of 17-7. The Canton team went 3-0 in the tournament and outscored their opponents 44-17. The state finals will be played in Billerica in a best-of-three series against the Section 1 winner (TBD). The first two games will be played on July 23 with game 3 being played on July 24, if necessary. Check www.cantonlittleleague.org for opponent and field location.
