Hanley, Margaret M.

Margaret M. Hanley (Linnett) of Canton passed away August 1 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton surrounded by her loving family.

Born and raised in South Boston, she attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from South Boston High School. Peggy and her husband, Jim, moved to Canton in 1963 where they raised their five children.

Mrs. Hanley was the secretary at St. John the Evangelist School for 35 years before retiring in 2010. She was an active member of St. John the Evangelist parish. Peggy loved to travel, especially to Aruba, Florida, and Vermont …
