Bridgham, Marcia

Marcia Blondell Bridgham passed away on Thursday, August 18, 2016, in West Burlington Township, PA, with her sons by her side following an extended period of illness. She was born to the late Martin E. and Marjorie (Swift) Blondell on May 4, 1942, in Milton.

She grew up in Canton and graduated with the Canton High School Class of 1960. She then went on to Keene State College (NH) where she met a young Marine Corps officer and they were married. The couple raised two boys and traveled extensively throughout the U.S. as a military family. Marcia later went on to a long career in the insurance field and retired from the Corrigan Agency – Nationwide Insurance in 2011. Marcia always enjoyed the oceans and waterfronts and spent time on the Pacific coast, Cape Cod, Annapolis, Maryland, and the south shore of Boston, notably in Scituate …
