Brightview Senior Living dedicates land to town
By Canton CitizenBrightview Canton, Brightview Senior Living’s seventh community in Massachusetts, will hold a land dedication event and luncheon on Wednesday, September 14, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
“Thirteen acres of open space and parkland contiguous to the site of Brightview Canton will be dedicated to the town of Canton,” said Len Hartwell, executive director.
“We are excited for this event,” Hartwell continued. “The town of Canton has been an excellent partner and we are delighted to give back to the town and its citizens. We hope the land will be enjoyed by everyone.”
Town Administrator Charles Aspinwall and Selectmen Chairman Bob Burr will join residents, families and associates at the event.
With a total of 160 apartment homes for seniors, the new community includes Independent Living, dedicated Assisted Living, and a Wellspring Village, a specialized program and environment where people living with dementia and other forms of Alzheimer’s lead full, engaged, meaningful lives.
“In our specially designed Wellspring Village neighborhood, we are able to create joy for residents and their families despite the challenges people living with dementia face,” said Hartwell.
Brightview communities are known for offering an engaging social environment with housekeeping, dining, transportation and maintenance provided by a highly trained and caring staff.
Brightview Canton welcomed its first residents and their families in July.
