Gary Thomas McNamara, 63, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016, at his home surrounded by the comfort of his loving family.

He was the son of the late Edwin and Ruth (Engler) McNamara. Gary was born on December 22, 1952, in Norwood. He was a graduate of the Berkley Conservatory of Music. He was employed for many years as a band instructor and German teacher at Canton High School.
