By Canton CitizenMary E. Ayer (Joyce), 83, of Canton, passed away October 1 at Season’s Hospice in Milton surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in Jamaica Plain, she graduated from Blessed Sacrament High School in Jamaica Plain. Mary previously worked as the assistant treasurer for the Volunteer Cooperative Bank in Boston. She has lived in Canton for 48 years where she was a member of the Community Club of Canton, a volunteer for the Canton Veterans Service Department, and a volunteer for the St. John School Foundation. Mary enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading, and going to Terban Health & Fitness Center …
