Feeney, Paul J.

Paul J. Feeney of Randolph, formerly of Mattapan, Milton and Canton, passed away January 6 at Milton Hospital.

Born in Phoenix, Arizona, he was raised in Mattapan and Milton. He graduated from Boston College High School, St. Anselm’s College, and earned his PhD from Southern Illinois University. Paul played hockey at BC High and was an avid Bruins fan. He was a professor at Southern Illinois University and Northeastern University before retiring. Paul’s singular angel was literature and he was a superb poet; his eye never strayed long from Gatsby’s distant green light …
