Rawding, Sara Grace

Sara Grace Rawding (Cochrane), 97, of Canton, passed away at home February 18 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Montour, PA, she graduated from Abington High School in Pennsylvania. Sara worked for Standard Press Steel Company during World War II on the Brown and Sharpes. She previously lived in Dorchester and has lived in Canton since 1950 where she was a member of the Community Club of Canton and the Canton Garden Club. She was the den mother for the Boy Scouts in the Ponkapoag neighborhood in Canton for many years. She was an avid Red Sox fan, loved traveling to Cape Breton Island, and enjoyed celebrating her birthday every year on St. Patrick’s Day …
