Criticism of president is our constitutional right

Dear Editor:

Regarding the recent letter from Robert E. Baril, (“Enough with the Trump bashing,” March 23), my response is that the lady (Alice Brown) does not protest too much. Methinks this is a good time to remind you that in the United States of America ladies have the constitutional right to freedom of speech. The president has had a chance to show his leadership skills and his humanity, and those of us paying attention are very disappointed. And when he fails to uphold the constitution, speaking up is our duty. So no, Mr. Baril, us ladies will not stifle.
