David H. Skill, 70, of Canton, passed away June 4 surrounded by his loving family at the McCarthy Care Center in Sandwich.

Born in Boston, he was raised in Braintree and graduated from Archbishop Williams High School and the College of the Holy Cross Class of 1968. He worked as the morning drive newscaster for WATD Radio 95.9 FM in Marshfield for over 30 years. Over the years he did several specialty shows on the Beatles, 60s music, and Motown. He also created features on subjects as eclectic as the Boston Harbor Islands and lighthouses to the beginnings of the Boston subway. He was also the co-host of Main Street on Canton Cable 8 for many years …
