Madden, Richard B.

Richard B. Madden, 76, of Stoughton, formerly of Methuen, passed away June 25 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.

Born and raised in Boston, he attended Boston schools and the Peterson School of Engineering and was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He worked as a steam engineer for Nynex in Middleton, Schraffts Candy and Hood Milk Co. He has lived in Stoughton for the past five years and previously lived in Methuen for 44 years. He was an avid boater and enjoyed spending time at the Irish Cultural Centre in Canton listening to Irish music and having a cold pint of beer …
