Canton’s Cortizo to lead Whitney Place Assisted Living
By Canton CitizenSALMON Health and Retirement is pleased to welcome Jorge Cortizo as the executive director of Whitney Place Assisted Living Residences at Sharon, slated to open in September.
Cortizo will oversee and manage all operations of the new community, consisting of 88 apartment homes with assisted living and memory care accommodations.
A Canton resident, Cortizo has been working in the senior living field since 2012, most recently as executive director of LCB Senior Living in Norwood. He previously served as executive director of Benchmark Senior Living in Franklin and has held management roles with national retailers including Target and Home Depot. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Baruch College in New York.
