Peer pressure intense from speeding motorists

By

Dear Editor:

My morning commute on Washington Street is a daily exercise in micro road rage. If I obey speed limits, I’ll be tailgated, flashed, and honked at by the vehicle behind me. If I add 5 mph, it doesn’t help. I’ve read that the lack of speeding enforcement is a matter of limited resources. But does that mean this important element of public safety has gone by the wayside? Should I just step on the gas and blend in? It would certainly reduce my stress level.

Thank you,

Glenn Shane
