Selectmen award contract for waterfront master plan
By Mike BergerThe Canton Board of Selectmen, in concert with Town Administrator Charlie Aspinwall, Parks and Recreation Director Liz Francis, and Conservation Agent Cynthia O’Connell, have chosen Kyle Zick Landscape Architecture (KZLA) Inc. of Boston to develop a master plan for the town-owned Earl Newhouse Waterfront Area at Reservoir Pond.

The town received 10 bids for the Newhouse project and O’Donnell, in a letter to selectmen, said she contacted four references provided by KZLA and highly recommended the firm.
The firm hopes to begin work in late August with the goal of submitting a master plan to the three boards by mid March.
