Phebe A. Jacobs (Allen), 72, of Mattapoisett and Royalston, peacefully passed away August 28, 2017, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Arkansas, she was raised in Royalston. Phebe earned her Bachelor of Education from the University of Rhode Island and her Master of Arts in Education from Framingham State. Mrs. Jacobs taught middle school in Walpole for many years. Married to the Rev. Philip Jacobs, Mrs. Jacobs was very active in all the parishes they served, especially the Trinity Episcopal Church of Canton …
